As some of you may already know, I set up my own net label earlier in the year with the aim to release dub techno and similar deep music. Well I’m happy to announce the first release from is now available for download!

The first release from Drift Deeper Recordings is a mixture of the music I love, a bit of dub techno, deep house, dub ambient all mixed into one amazing compilation.

The reason I chose to do a release like this is explained in the EP title ‘A taste of things to come’. I wanted to find a wide range of tracks that I love and want to help promote to give you an idea of what you can expect in the future from Drift Deeper. If you like tracks on this first release then you are going to love our future releases too.

I want to thanks all the artists who helped create this release. I’m very proud of this first release and it would not have existed without all these talented people.

WOW! Not quite sure how I missed this one from a few months ago but just received an email from the guys at Fundii Recordings pointing me to it. Textural Being is one for always making the chords that I love most – uplifting, progressive, emotional, futuristic and just plain ol’ amazing!

This EP really is an essential purchase. I haven’t really been saying that much this year as I feel not a lot of dub techno follows this sound at the moment. It’s rare that I love every track on an EP, most of the time there is always a few tracks that are a bit too minimal for my liking but this EP definitely gets the Dub Techno Blog Approved stamp. A newly discovered label for me today. Just checking out their releases and there’s some great music on here. Be sure to check them out if you haven’t discovered them yet.

Starting of the EX series is a release entitled DeepWarmth Remixed. It features 4 remixes from artists like Louigi Verona, and Textural Being. The EX series is going to be releases from time to time that don’t go into the main catalog like this release as bandcamp only releases. Could be stuff that compliments releases already out on the label
