Label XRCST is proud to present our new ep from Cologne based producer Tex Bates (MOSHItaka, XRCST).

Following up 2014’s well received Adenekan EP, Tex Bates returns with his second release on label XRCST. EGP EP delivers 4 deep dubby tracks where in EGP1 alongside the hypnotic pads and sun-kissed jazzy trumpet it is the chunky bass that creates a nicely balanced contrast. The Science Fiction Club’s remix of the track Ease is a brilliantly done lifting dub techno journey. EGP2 is the shorter version of EGP1 without jazzy trumpet. And closing up with track Ease which is made in the typical Tex Bates’s deep dubby house style – chunky bass with well balanced deep dub techno soundscapes.

R.A.P. is an Argentine duo of producers based in Buenos Aires conformed by Maxi Raffone and Juan Manuel Pinal. Hypnotic and classic, are the characteristics of his music reason why National and international djs choose to play their songs. Royer – Documented (MÖRK012)

With a skillet of brooding, deep & melodic releases in his wake for the Lobster main label, Moomin’s Closer imprint and an exceptionally beautiful self-released tape, Royer returns to the Lobster family with a clutch of super deep, dusty, planes-of-light-through-the-curtain house music that channel a nostalgic optimism into it’s brooding & humming elemental core.

From the fading melancholy memories of clqsse22 (simple version) and it’s more bubbling & swaggering ‘sunday lit reffaaax’ counterpart, to the sunlight rays cutting and refracting from the facets of d’orr22. Each track finds it’s own slot on the spectrum of deep, warm house music.

Closer healyrslfw_lee nods to the more beat-oriented Royer works, heavy sampling a playful short piano loop and cutting in spoken word segments. As a rare Lobster digi extra we also get ‘day of’. All stripped back grooves and stodgy MPC percussion lounging around a cloud of early morning haze.
