Irammm is a new alias from an artist who lands on the Shaded Explorations label with a full length entitled ‘Les Deserts D’Irammm’. The idea behind this new album is to invite you into the archives of Irammm. It is “a kind of a testimony of the life over here, alone in the desert, maybe buried, struggling for water amidst the illusion of an oasis” and was written as a cathartic exercise to release pain and find peace and sorrow in sound, and that is something all listeners will resonate with such is the evocative nature of all nine tracks.

All elements of this 3-piece form were produced in the end of 2012 and beginning of 2013. Originally these were intended to be put into cassette tape under different moniker but finally it has never been executed that way and only very close group of family and friends ever had a chance to have a listen.

DYFR is about working towards a more considered praxis on the part of listeners and artists in the ‘scene’.
This is the first ‘release’ undertaken as part of this project. The intention is for DYFR to slowly become a work shared by numerous artists in various mediums and fields dedicated to the consideration of cultural destination, the practice of making, sharing and engaging with music and art, and the thinking of intention and limits of creation within our chosen fields.

Ocean waves, tranquility and ambient. Seems a fitting match. Being in a meditative state of mind, attempting to clear out all thoughts and rid myself of negative energy, I put together a mix to compliment my meditation. As the water sways in waves, so does my breath, and so does everything else. In moment of eternal bliss, we long for calm and no place is calmer than the ocean. This ambient mix with a touch of dub is meant to relax your mind and take the stress away.

With a duration of 63 minutes „amblex“ – released on the Frankonian experimental cassette label Silhouette Tapes – almost doubles the duration of RVL’s distortion tale „float“ (37 minutes / tmæins CD, 2001). Recorded in 1994 to music cassette, RVL releases an epic ambient recording that had laid dormant in his drawer for almost 23 years. Visual support comes again from the Dutch illustrator Merijn Hos (merijnhos.com, 030303 recs/Utrecht). His artwork perfectly underlines all acoustic nuances of „amblex“, easily inducing synesthetic impressions in the listener.
