The White Man – Shining Trapezohedron (Grounded in Humanity)

12″ LIMITED EDITION 150 Copies, VINYL-ONLY – No digital download!

This time we present another story that has nothing to do with the main plot of the label, although it’s somehow connected to it. Let’s say it harkens back to the very origins of the storyline.

Le Code – The end Is The Beginning [YIN029]

The release was created by French producer Le Code, a fan of sound synthesis and various musical devices, which he gladly uses when writing his music. Direct impact on creativity also has a love for atmospheric dub music, which significantly felt in the tracks. «The End is the Beginning» has turned out to be mysterious and enigmatic, as the road of a lonely wanderer at the beginning of the path. Such an atmosphere is set by explosive, but quickly dissolving chords and subtle running percussion. At the same time, it is a very confident techno drum section that characterizes our traveler as a purposeful person who is in this state from the beginning to the end. Enjoy your listening!

Various – Changes In The Matrix LP

Album from three young producers, wandering sound which formed between themselves mental ties in the form of dub groove, which drawn profound, powerful bass lines and soft drums techno sections. All this is accompanied by noisy atmospheres, hanging over the thin spring ice, and melodious lines, striving forward at cosmic speed, but sounding as if they were slowed down.

The album is listened to quite rapidly, offering ease to move, crushing the air around and making however changes to the matrix. Enjoy your listening!

Funky Jeff – Chain reaction tribute mix

Life films us exactly. Our experience of it, though, lies beyond images and descriptions. Emotions, coming in irrational flashes, are non-figurable. We lose our little connection to them very quickly. We look for forms with this in mind : so they can take us to meet the subconscious. Chain reaction was a sublabel of Basic Channel founded in 1995. Peter Kuschnereit aka Substance, René Löwe aka Vainqueur, Torsten Pröfrock aka Various artists and Resilent, Andy Mellwig, Thomas Köner aka Porter Ricks, Gerhard Behles, Robert Henke, Torsten Pröfrock aka Monolake formed some of the artists of the now defunkt label.

Chain reactions is a mix tribute to the label / 1995-2003, it is influenced by glitch techno, dub and ambient. Sounds of CR are captured within tiny fragments of time and then within one’s mindspace. I think it’s important to play this mix on a decent system so you can really hear and feel the interactions between the delays, the warm basslines and the soundscapes that surrounds them.

Downscope – Dub Diner

Guilty pleasures of the late night diner experience are scored via classic dub techno by a prolific artist named Downscope, whose material spans several monikers and genres of electronic music.  From dark, brooding echoing atmospheres drenched in analog rain to minimal melodic bass-driven riffs, Dub Diner’s menu has something for all fans of the genre.

Paul St-Hilaire / Tikiman mix tribute

Berlin’s deep space dub techno scene has a voice, and Paul St Hilaire is surely the one most entitled to claim its title. The artist that first made his mark as Tikiman. Born in Grandbay on the Caribbean Island of Dominica but a true dub vocalist, Tikiman burst onto the scene during the mid-1990s The understated disco dub of “Never Tell You” was the earliest I can recall hearing of him, a debut 10-inch release on Basic Channel’s Burial Mix subsidiary.
